Details

AT LAST - a special edition containing re-prints of all the articles in the historic first three issues of Raw Vision. Published in 1989 and 1990, these issues contain a wealth of archival and reference material. These early issues have been out of print for many years and original copies are now expensive collectors' items.

This 180 page special edition of Raw Vision was published in December 2005 to coincide with the Outsider Art Fair in New York.

"Raw Vision" was first published in 1989 with the express purpose of bringing the phenomena of Outsider Art to a wide public. Although there is no Outsider Art movement as such -- each outsider artist being an art movement of one -- there is a broad critical and appreciative following which Raw Vision has sought to serve. The first three issues of "Raw Vision" magazine were a genuinely international effort, and the magazine became the voice of a previously disparate community.

This special edition contains re-prints of all the articles in the historic first three issues of Raw Vision. Containing a wealth of archival and reference material, these early issues have been out of print for many years, and original copies are now expensive collectors' items. Lots of art, mostly color.
