This figure will go on sale when Vinylmore 3: Vinylmore, Munnyland opens on Friday, April 2 at 7PM at Atomic Books. The show will run through May 2.
Stephen Blickenstaff was born October 15, 1961 in Frederick, Maryland and has spent his life collecting and drawing monsters.
He is most notably known for drawing The Cramps Bad Music for Bad People record album cover in 1983.
Stephen has also designed record covers and t-shirts for bands such as Thin White Rope, They Might Be Giants, The Graves Brothers Deluxe and Love Tractor.
Stephen’s work has appeared in various publications including Guitar World, Psychotronic Video, Weirdo and Dark Horse Presents, and Les Barany’s Carnivora - The Dark Art of Automobiles.
Stephen’s work has appeared on Cutting Edge’s vending machine stickers and on a Burton snowboard.
In 1994, Binary Software released ‘Stephen Blickenstaff’s ScreamSavers’, an animated monsters screen saver program based on Blickenstaff’s creations.
Since the beginning of the year 2003, Stephen has been working on an ongoing series of monster paintings.
