Think of it as taking a nice long rummage through a working writer's desk drawers, an opportunity to read a bunch of things that for one reason or another hadn't previously seen the light of day.

Or, if you prefer, think of it as what it would be like if there were a writer who had a kind of massive crush on you, and kept showing you stuff she'd written, but had never published. Private stuff, personal stuff, sexy and touching, and heavy-thinking and sensuous and even, dare I whisper it, charming and funny stuff. The kind of stuff a writer might show someone she had a huge crush on if she wanted that person to sort of know it, but without her having to say it.
