I love John’s sparse, evocative drawing style, and his deep affection for his cats. Many of the comics in #71 deal with moving—either from Dekalb, IL to Denver, CO or to Gainsville, FL. This issue feels sad to me. Some of the panels are more openended than usual, and I didn’t always understand the full story behind the drawing. However, it’s still a satisfying zine from an awesome artist. (Posted on 8/12/12)
