A well written police log in a local paper can be a thing of poetry. And, depending on where you live, the content and tone of these crime reports can vary wildly. For example, I live in Baltimore. The police log here is very different than Carmel, CA. While ours looks more like the Wire, the Carmel log that Cook turns into a comic strip looks more like something from The Prisoner. Ingenious.
