Syndicate Product #20: Meta Comics Issue

Product Review (submitted on August 12, 2012):
Disclosure: I am not only a contributor, but also a Kickstarter backer. Personally, I think that should say a little bit about what I think of A.j. Michel’s zines. This issue looks at comics and has contributions—both words and images—from Ken Bausert, Delaine Derry Green, Mike Fallon, and more. There are no two essays alike.

For me, one of the most powerful was Andrew Coltrin’s explanations about how, as someone with Asperger’s, comics helped him understand what might be going on in other people’s thought balloons.

I was also surprised by A.j.’s deep love for Peanuts. Oh, and Eric, if you want to check out those missing years of Groo the Wanderer, I likely have them here. I’ll sell you my whole collection (#1 to around issue 100ish).
