Quick Overview

"if i had to leave one thing for the world to remember me it would be issue one of sub rosa. i don't know why, what it is that makes me love this zine so much but i'm so proud. when i put this out i had already been making zines for years & years but none of those came close to being as emotionally raw & telling as the first issue of sub rosa."

"it's thirty pages of heartbreak & survival, addiction & love. this zine is full of questions & answers & a girl begging the world to give her a chance to make things right, forgive her mistakes & lend a helping hand each morning when she fights to get out of bed."

From Sub Rosa #1
The one thing that gets me out of bed every morning is the hope that things can only get better. By the end of the day I know that isn't true. The sun doesn't always shine & I have to stop forcing it to because if I can appreciate the clouds, the rain, the darks days I can keep on going even when the sun burns out for good.
