Alongside interviews and statements of those directly involved, pieces by Martha Cooper (photojournalist), Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich (Hochschule fuer Gestaltung, Karlsruhe – Karlruhe University of Arts and Design) and Prof. Dr. Franz Liebl (Universitaet der Kuenste Berlin – Berlin University of the Arts) present the diverse project from various perspectives. All art works were captured by international photographers and are displayed extensively throughout the book. The documentation of “Outsides” is rounded off with the inclusion of a DVD containing the film, “They come at night” by director Volker Sattel which serves to provide a filmic viewpoint of this quite unconventional art project.
