Friedrich Nietzsche's exterminating text, THE ANTICHRIST is a literary assassination of Christianity by the 'philosopher with a hammer' at the height of his power, vitriol, and - some say - madness. Soon after completing THE ANTICHRIST, Nietzsche collapsed and never fully recovered, dying two years later.

In THE ANTICHRIST, Nietzsche not only negates the Bible and its teachings, but reinforces his insistence on man's survival by attaining the Will To Power. Only by the Will To Power can man transcend the idea of God and himself become an ubermensch, or 'superman.'
